We are very sad to announce the death of Martin Simons
On 19 January 2005, our author and good friend, Martin Simons, died at the age of 93 in Melbourne, Australia. Martin was the author of our extremely successful Sailplanes book series. He regularly spent several weeks in Königswinter and Bonn for this purpose. We greatly appreciated Martin’s extremely friendly manner and were enthusiastic about his extensive knowledge, not only in gliding. We will always remember him fondly in our thoughts and in his many books.
